La Costeña proudly sponsored the WBCA 35th Annual Jalapeño Festival as part of the festivities included in the month-long WBCA Laredo program. This year’s event took place on February 23rd at the Park & Ride Park in Laredo, Texas.
The winner was Mr. Aniceto Mata, who won this year’s edition after eating a WHOPPING 122 WHOLE JALAPEÑO PEPPERS. Aniceto’s grand prize consisted of a $1,000 Cash Prize made possible by the WBCA Jalapeño Festival Organizing Committee.
