Established in 1961, GRUPO JUMEX is the largest producer of juices and nectars in Mexico.

The first product launched was a 350 ml can containing apple nectar under the brand FRUGO. In 1964 the JUMEX brand was introduced and rapidly became well known thanks to its package "la latita azul" (the little blue can ).

In 1973, GRUPO JUMEX decided to establish BOTEMEX, its own manufacturing can facility, which gave the company the opportunity to innovate in the packaging design process. For over 45 years, GRUPO JUMEX has constantly searched for new technologies to ensure the highest quality products in packaging that includes cans, glass, plastic and aseptic packs.

Leader in the nectar category in Mexico, JUMEX continues to meet the needs of the consumers far and beyond the Mexican territory. Consumers from Central America, South America, Europe and Asia enjoy the delicious fruits and traditions that JUMEX brings to their families. In 1982 JUMEX began exporting its products to the US, becoming the leader in the shelf stable nectar category and the favorite brand among the Hispanic community and general market.
